At Companion Pet Clinic, we understand that the thought of your pet undergoing surgery can be stressful or even scary. That’s why we take every precaution to maximize your pet’s safety. Before performing any procedure, we complete a comprehensive physical exam and, if elected, pre-anesthetic blood work to confirm the anesthesia will be safe for your pet. During surgery, we use complete, advanced surgical monitoring to ensure that your pet is safe throughout the entire procedure. A Veterinary Assistant will be assigned to continuously monitor your pet’s vitals, including heart rate, respiratory rate, and body temperature. Following surgery, we will manage postoperative pain through continued examinations and the appropriate pain medication.
We perform a wide range of surgeries including:
- Spay & Neuter
- Fracture Repair
- Cruciate Ligament Repair
- Cast/Splint Application
- Soft Tissue Surgery
- Foreign Body Removal
- Tumor Removal & Histopathology
- Anal Glad Removal
